Nigerians have stormed their polling units in different parts of the country, to cast their votes for their preferred candidate in the 2023 elections. Amongst those who have exercised their franchise is President Muhammadu Buhari.

However, after voting for his preferred political candidates, President Muhammadu Buhari, showed the crowds his ballot paper, after he thumb printed on them.

Nigerians have reacted to this action by President Muhammadu Buhari, saying it is prohibited by the new electoral act, and some Nigerians have taken to their twitter handles to react to it.

Reacting to it, a twitter user with the handle name ‘Slimfit’ commented, “Why is Buhari showing the whole world who he voted for? That’s illegal Oga. It’s a secret ballot for a reason”.

Another twitter user commented, “You can take him to court”.
