The late Oyo federal lawmaker, Hon. Olaide Akinremi Jagaban, is set to be laid to rest today at 4 pm, according to Islamic rites.
One of the late lawmaker’s close allies confirmed that the remains of the Ibadan North federal constituency lawmaker are on their way to Ibadan and will be received at the Ibadan airport.
It was reported that one of Akinremi’s colleagues, Hon. Abass Adigun Agboworin, arranged for a chartered flight to convey the body of the lawmaker from Abuja to Ibadan. The plane is expected to land at the Alakia Ibadan local airport sometime after 2:30 pm today.
The late Hon. Akinremi passed away this morning in Abuja after a brief illness. He will be buried at the Eternal Homes Cemetery, located at Km 25 on the Ibadan-Oyo road, in the Afijio Local Government Area of Oyo State.
