As war between Israeli and Palestine rages, this year marks almost 50 years since Israel’s last official war, the Yom Kippur War in 1973. However, the current conflict is different, with Hamas launching rockets and invading Israel through various means, Pastor Greg Laurie revealed.
According to him, the current attack is a fulfillment of Biblical prophecy which foretold the plight of Israelites and as sign of end time.
Pastor Greg Laurie noted that the attacks have targeted civilians, including women and children, and have resulted in numerous casualties and this has fulfilled the Biblical prophecy in Zacharia 14 verse 2.
“Hamas is a known terrorist organization funded by Iran, which has openly expressed its desire to destroy Israel and is suspected of developing nuclear weapons. Bible prophecy has long predicted Jerusalem’s significance in end times events. In the context of recent events, the US administration’s decision to provide financial assistance to Iran is seen as a concerning move.
“The regathering of Israel and subsequent attacks, as mentioned in the Bible, suggest a possible conflict involving Russia and Iran. The close relationship between these two nations in recent years further highlights the potential fulfillment of biblical prophecy. It is important for Christians to be aware of these developments and to pray for the peace of Jerusalem and the protection of Israel”, he revealed.
