Bishop David Oyedepo, the General Overseer of the Living Faith Church Worldwide spoke to his members on ‘Engaging The Wonders Of Specific Demands On Our Prayer Altar’ at 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting Day 11, Youth Chapel.
According to him, “When the Lord enlightens your spirit man, you dominate the world of darkness. So value the light that is emanating from this altar of prayer and fasting. Don’t just document them. The value of light is in walking in it not in documenting. There are things we receive in our mental system. They don’t endure but when they penetrate your spirit man, they become your life long asset in your walk with God.”
He then revealed what he responded when he saw himself in a coffin in the dream. He said, “I told you there was a time many years ago, I saw me in a coffin and I was in a sleep. And I responded from the sleep, “satan you must be daft; for it is written, there is no wisdom, nor understanding, nor counsel in the grave. No one sees himself in the grave and stays there. Dummy devil clear off there!” – In the sleep.
He then said that your spirit man is the candle of the Lord. When God enlightens your spirit, you dominate the world of darkness. “Will that come my way anymore?” Never! How? I got the key to it. He further said, “I finished a seminar on Victory over death. You know, those are very strange areas and death came to check out whether I was just blowing grammar or displaying theology.
Finally, Let your Spirit man grab these things all these, theological and psychological kind of things, don’t fly in the spiritual world. They don’t fly Sir. You need something in your spirit to deal with the issues of your life. Psalm 119:130. The entrance not the hearing; it is the entrance of the word into your spirit that gives light.
