Mogaji Wole Arisekola has once again put smiles on the faces of the people of his community at Ajenigieye Compound, N4/534, Temidire, Oje, Ibadan.
The Ibadan-born businessman and publisher of The Street Journal Magazine, on Saturday, 18th January, 2025, distributed over 40 bags of rice to his people.
The gesture of love, as supervised by Arisekola himself, did not only witness a massive turnout but also saw the beneficiaries expressing their heartfelt gratitude to their Mogaji. They showered prayers on him over his continuous supports to the community through his philanthropic activities.
Arisekola, as the Mogaji (family head) of Ajenigieye, has notably contributed and still contributing to the development of his immediate environment. He has positively impacted many lives within the community just as he has done in the society generally.
He recently distributed 3,000 bundles of exercise books and 1,500 school bags to primary and secondary school students within his family compound in Yemetu-Oje, Ibadan. Some market women within the community also of recent benefited from his #50,000 empowerment scheme. This is coupled with the widows and the elderly ones on his monthly payroll. There are also scores at various stages of education under his scholarship sheme.
All these and many more are what Wole Arisekola has been doing for years without making noise about them.
When asked how he feels seeing smiles on people’s faces, Arisekola’s answer was very simple and direct.
He said: “It gives me a kind of inner joy whenever I help people. All I’m asking from God is to give me the grace and ability to do even more for my people and the society generally.”
