Adenike Adewodun, the woman who made headlines for her admission of engaging in sexual activities with dogs during an interview on the podcast “Talk on B” hosted by Nollywood actress Biola Adebayo, has been arrested for conspiracy and attempted obtaining by false pretense.
According to TheNewsGuru.com (TNG), Adewodun’s arrest came after she faked her own death, just hours after the podcast interview went viral. Biola Adebayo had shared on Instagram that she had received word from a friend of Adewodun that the woman had taken her own life.
However, on Thursday, Biola revealed in a statement that she had discovered Adewodun had faked her own death, leading to the woman’s arrest.
In her own words, Adewodun explained that she faked her death because some people recognized her, and she panicked, thinking that if the news of her death came out, Biola Adebayo would remove the podcast episode from social media.
Adewodun has since been released, and despite her actions, Biola Adebayo has stated that she will still go ahead with helping the woman get the help she needs to live a normal life again.
