Young Man Arrested for Alleged Bank Bombing Attempt in Jos (VIDEO)

A young man was apprehended while allegedly trying to detonate a bomb inside a bank in Jos, Plateau State. The incident occurred on May 13th in the Dadin Kowa area of the city.

According to eyewitnesses, the young man was tackled to the ground before security operatives could intervene and take him into custody. During the arrest, the suspect reportedly claimed that he was forced to carry out the attack by members of the Boko Haram terrorist group.

Authorities have launched a full investigation into the incident to determine the suspect’s motives and any potential connections to terrorist organizations.

“This is a very serious and concerning situation,” said a local police spokesperson. “We are working diligently to gather all the facts and ensure the safety of the public. Any individuals involved in such acts of terrorism will be swiftly brought to justice.”

The arrest serves as a reminder of the ongoing threat of extremist violence in parts of Nigeria, and the importance of vigilance and cooperation between citizens and law enforcement in combating these threats.
