A young man was apprehended while allegedly trying to detonate a bomb inside a bank in Jos, Plateau State. The incident occurred on May 13th in the Dadin Kowa area of the city.
According to eyewitnesses, the young man was tackled to the ground before security operatives could intervene and take him into custody. During the arrest, the suspect reportedly claimed that he was forced to carry out the attack by members of the Boko Haram terrorist group.
Authorities have launched a full investigation into the incident to determine the suspect’s motives and any potential connections to terrorist organizations.
