“It is glaring to everyone, including the opposition that in the last four years, Governor Seyi Makinde has taken the pace setter state to an unprecedented level in terms of infrastructure, educational development, increased internal generated revenue”, the communique read in part.

It added, “Since its inception, the administration of Governor Makinde has never denied any worker, his or her due, a situation common with the last APC administration. It is to glory of God that Makinde was given to the state since 2019, because only God knows how many of our senior citizens would have died of starvation, as a result of non payment of their gratuities. For this special achievement of the governor, workers and retirees in many states in Nigeria are envious of their counterparts in Oyo state”.

The group however cautioned the opposition to stop playing the politics of calumny and play the game according to the rule.

It therefore reassured the people of Oyo state that the dividend of democracy they are presently enjoying will continue during the second term of the governor by the grace of God.
