EFCC Nabs 34 Suspected Internet Fraudsters in Ekiti (PHOTOS)

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibadan Zonal Directorate, has apprehended 34 individuals suspected of engaging in internet fraud in Ekiti State.

The suspects were arrested in the early hours of Monday, June 23, 2025, during a sting operation carried out in the Iworoko and Ijado areas of Ado-Ekiti. The arrests followed credible intelligence linking the individuals to cybercrime activities.

During the operation, EFCC operatives recovered several items, including 11 luxury cars, numerous laptops, mobile phones, and various incriminating documents.
