A native doctor from Enugu State, identified on Facebook as Ezeani Enugu State, has been apprehended by the Nigeria Immigration Service while allegedly trying to flee the country through a land border.
Ezeani, who was declared wanted in connection with a string of serious crimes reported at his residence in Unojo, Umumba Ndi-Agu, Ezeagu Local Government Area, had reportedly been on the run since Monday evening. Authorities say he was intercepted before managing to leave the country.
The arrest follows a disturbing discovery at his property, where a young girl was rescued and reports of possible ritual-related killings surfaced. A circulating photo shows the suspect in handcuffs, confirming his capture.
For many in the community, the arrest is a long-awaited step toward justice. Residents, activists, and concerned citizens have expressed relief, with hopes that justice will now be served for both survivors and victims.
In a related development, locals have allegedly identified the social club to which Ezeani—also known as Ichie Billion—belongs. The club, called White Club Kingdom for Progress, is now under scrutiny, with claims emerging that its members may be involved in ritual activities.
The club’s constitution and contact details of its members were reportedly shared online, intensifying calls for a broader investigation.
