The couple’s romance began during the period when former Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari’s government imposed a ban on Twitter, which lasted from June 5, 2021, to January 13, 2022.

Facing limited access to the platform, the woman employed a VPN to change her online location, allowing her to bypass the ban and continue using Twitter. It was during this time that she connected with her future husband, leading to their blossoming relationship.
