Senator Sharafadeen Alli (APC-Oyo South) has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa on his recent electoral success in the Ondo State governorship race. In a statement issued on Monday in Ibadan, Alli lauded Aiyedatiwa’s victory as a reflection of his exemplary leadership and the confidence the people of Ondo State place in his ability to govern.

“Your re-election demonstrates the solid support you have garnered through your commitment to the development and progress of Ondo State,” Senator Alli stated. He expressed confidence that Aiyedatiwa would enhance the accomplishments of his administration, particularly in the fields of infrastructure, education, healthcare, and economic growth.

Alli urged the governor to remain focused on delivering the dividends of democracy to the citizens, stating, “On behalf of the good people of Oyo South Senatorial District, I congratulate you once again on this well-earned victory. May your tenure bring prosperity, peace, and progress to Ondo State.”

In addition to his congratulations, Senator Alli offered his condolences to the Olugbon of Orile-Igbon, Oba Francis Alao, following the passing of his mother, Deaconess Margaret Oyeronke Alao. The Deaconess, who was 81 years old and had been battling illness, passed away early Friday.

In his condolence message, Alli highlighted the profound loss felt not only by the royal family but also by the wider community. He described Deaconess Alao as a virtuous woman and devoted Christian who dedicated her life to serving both God and humanity.

“Her legacy of godliness, kindness, and integrity will remain etched in the hearts of all who knew her,” he reflected. The senator commended Oba Alao for the strength and leadership he has shown during this difficult time and urged him to take comfort in the impactful life his mother led.

Alli prayed for the royal family and the residents of Orile-Igbon to find the fortitude to cope with their loss, concluding with, “Please accept my deepest sympathies, and may the soul of Mama rest in perfect peace.”
