The business tycoon and foremost political chieftain of People’s Democratic Party has joined others to felicitate with the Oyo State Government and people of the State on the occasion of Isese Day.

In a press statement released via his Media Unit early this morning, Hon. Olayinka Segelu described the festive as another time to honour our rich cultural and spiritual beliefs and another way of getting things in place in our political system and in generality.

He said “Today, we come together to celebrate Isese Day, a time to honour our rich cultural heritage, spiritual beliefs, and ancestral traditions.
This day serves as a reminder of the wisdom and values passed down through generations. It’s good to see that our amiable Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, declared a work-free day for the celebration of Isese Day.”

“Let us celebrate the beauty of our rituals, the strength of our community, and the reverence we hold for our deities and ancestors.

May we continue to embrace and promote our cultural practices, fostering unity and understanding among ourselves and others.” He continued.

He further explained that embracing some of our culture and tradition can get some political issues solved and employing our local strategy can get our lost glory restored, transform our system and reposition our way of life.

Hon. Segelu then admonished the citizen to embrace more of our culture and allow it not to go on extinction and wish everyone a joyous and fulfilling celebration!
