Cristel Nchama, who has been identified as one of the women in the recently leaked sex tapes involving Baltasar Engonga, has stepped forward to publicly share her ordeal. Nchama, who dated Engonga for over four years, alleges that she was misled by her ex-partner and feels victimized following the release of their private videos.

“I am humiliated. It is my reputation, my honour. I want to understand how these videos were leaked and why he kept them,” Nchama stated during an interview. She has officially lodged a complaint with the National Gendarmerie of Malabo, reportedly becoming the first woman to do so among those featured in the viral tapes.

Engonga, who recently served as the Director General of the National Financial Investigation Agency (ANIF), lost his position after these explicit videos of him with multiple women surfaced online while he was in custody at Malabo’s notorious Black Beach prison on charges of embezzlement.

According to reports, the explicit content included not only sexual acts with Nchama but also instances where Engonga requested other women to share self-recorded sexual content.

In her complaint, Nchama expressed that, despite any moments of intimacy that may occur between consenting adults, she vehemently opposed being filmed by Engonga on multiple occasions. Although she acknowledged that some footage was recorded and later deleted, she emphasized it was inappropriate for him to retain any explicit content.

“I believe that what happens between two people in a moment of passion should not be preserved in such a manner,” she said.

Following Nchama’s formal complaint, the National Gendarmerie encouraged other women featured in the tapes to come forward and report their experiences.

In related developments, Reginaldo Biyogo Mba Ndong, the Minister of Justice, Religion and Human Rights in Equatorial Guinea, has taken action regarding the explicit videos recorded in court bathrooms. Reports indicate that he visited Court Number 1, where part of the content was filmed. During this visit, he underscored the need for enhanced security measures to prevent such incidents in the future.

Accompanied by key officials, Ndong engaged in discussions about the circulating explicit material and emphasized the importance of maintaining integrity within judicial spaces.

As the investigation unfolds, the situation continues to garner significant attention, highlighting broader issues of privacy and consent within intimate relationships.
