Shocking CCTV footage has emerged showing a man, suspected to be a Nigerian police officer based on his uniform, caught in the act of stealing from a local betting shop.

The incident occurred in an empty betting shop, where the man is seen making his way behind the counter, an area typically restricted for employees only. He then leans over the counter and takes an item, which he proceeds to pocket before exiting the premises.

Employees who reviewed the footage afterward were heard speaking in the Yoruba language, expressing their dismay and stating that the man has seemingly made a habit out of stealing.
