Nollywood Producer dies as skitmaker predicts own death

Nollywood has been thrown into mourning following the death of producer and marketer Chijioke Ike. His colleague, Ajemba Stanley Chibueze, popularly known as Stanley Ontop, announced the tragic news on Instagram on Wednesday.

Stanley Ontop revealed that Chijioke Ike passed away at his home in eastern Nigeria. According to him, the producer slumped during a family gathering, a sudden and painful loss that has left many in shock.

In his heartfelt post, Stanley wrote:
“Black day for Nollywood eastern part as we lost a vibrant Nollywood producer and marketer @globalgoldenmovies. This one pain me ooo. Omo waten the sup. According to a reliable source, he slumped in a family meeting in his hometown. May his soul rest in peace.”

In a separate development, popular Nigerian skit maker Carter Efe has sparked worry among fans with a troubling social media post.

Carter Efe took to his X (formerly Twitter) handle to share a cryptic message, stating, “Might leave this earth January 10th,” accompanied by a heartbreaking emoji. The post has caused a stir online, with fans expressing concern over his well-being.

One user, @YKoluwaseun, responded, “If you leave, who go dey give us mid skit?” to which Efe replied, suggesting that his words might seem humorous now but would lead to regret if the unthinkable happens.

Fans and colleagues are urging Carter Efe to stay strong and seek support during this difficult time.
