President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been saluted for his doggedness at midwifing a new Nigeria in the past one year despite the various challenges he has had to grapple with since assuming office.

The Global Lead Pastor of The Nxtion Family, Pastor Tobi Adegboyega in his congratulatory message to President Tinubu on the occasion of his first anniversary in office which also marks 25 years of uninterrupted democratic rule in the country, said the emergence of the President at this critical time was nothing short of a divine arrangement.

In the message that was made available to Spheres News and other media outlets, Pastor Tobi said not minding the teething problems that President Tinubu’s administration has had to face, he remains the best option at this critical time of our national life.
The preacher who had his formative years in Nigeria urged citizens to be patient with the President as he seeks to steer the nation back to the path of development, expressing confidence that things will improve for the best.

“Many of our compatriots want a quick fix not minding the rot that has eaten deep into different aspects of our national life. I will admonish us all to be patient not minding who our choice was at the time of election. Politicking is over, now is the time for nation building, and all hands should be on deck.”

Pastor Tobi also noted the President’s efforts in introducing a lot of reforms and taking hard decisions which he noted had to be taken to save the country from going under. He mentioned most notably, the removal of subsidy from petroleum products which freed up more funds for Governors to be able to embark on developmental programmes.

According to the Pastor who is an ardent lover of his country of origin, this and other policies being implemented will bear more positive fruits which will reflect in the standard of living of Nigerians going forward.

“While there is more to be done in the area of insecurity, the progress being made is worthy of mention. The days of brazen attacks on our institutions by terrorists are long gone and the President and his service chiefs have built on the success recorded in ensuring the country is secured.”

The robust relationship among the tiers of government has also helped the President in implementing programmes. Pastor Tobi commended this cooperation and urged all stakeholders to continue to work together in ensuring that Nigeria reclaims her place among the comity of nations.

“I commend the President for allowing independence among the three tiers of government. There were times when the result of some elections were known before voting and election petitions were influenced but President Tinubu has allowed the Judiciary to make decisions without being meddlesome while the Legislature has also been allowed to run without interference.”

Pastor Tobi Adegboyega urged the opposition to continue playing their role to keep the President on his toes but emphasized that he was very confident that President Tinubu would deliver and the story would continue to be a good one.

“In a society like Nigeria, there is bound to be criticism which may be constructive or otherwise. The Nxtion Family urges the President to take note of constructive criticism for improvement and ignore others of no significance.”
“We also urge all appointees who the President has trusted with different roles and offices to discharge their duties effectively to make President Tinubu’s plans and aspirations for Nigeria see the light of day.”
