Sir K Kamoru, the late popular Yoruba actor and Isbae U’s father, was laid to rest today amid tears.
The late actor was buried on Tuesday, according to Islamic rites, at his home.
According to his colleague, Yomi Adebiyi, who announced on his social media handle, Sir K Kamoru died on Tuesday morning while his death has yet to be determined.
At the funeral, his son, popular internet sensation Isbae U, is seen paying his last respects with his siblings.
Isbae U’s father who went viral on social media few weeks ago for splashing N100m on new house has starred in many Yoruba movies.
In August of 2022, Sir K got N1m cash from his son to mark his birthday.
The famous skit maker, Isbae U, had posted a video on social media showing the moment he gifted his dad a whooping cash gift of N1 million.
The actor, who seemed extremely excited, showed off his dance moves as he danced excitedly to the drums of the drummers.
Captioning the video, Isbae U wrote:
“Gifted My Dad with 1 Million Naira Cash to Celebrate his Birthday, Love you Dad ( Sir K Kamoru).”
Sir K, renowned for playing ‘bad boy’ roles in movies, was one of the right-hand men of Lagos transport union chief, Musiliu Ayinde Akinsanya a.k.a. MC Oluomo.
