Despite not being twins, GSM (Engr. Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde, the Executive Governor of Oyo State) and Otunba Seye Famojuro share an uncanny resemblance in their approach to leadership, exemplifying the qualities of exceptional political figures.

Both men have demonstrated a remarkable ability to recognize and appreciate the value of their followers, a trait that sets them apart in the political landscape.

“They excel in understanding individuals, discerning the most dedicated and committed individuals for key roles,” says Hon. Kazeem Alimi, a PDP Stalwart in Ibadan North Local Government.

Their leadership is further characterized by their skill in consulting stakeholders and leaders, ensuring that the most qualified candidates are selected for elections and political appointments. This inclusive approach has earned them the trust and loyalty of their supporters.

“Their leadership is marked by their capacity to identify loyal members with the skills and capability to collaborate effectively,” Alimi adds. “They are committed to the continuous expansion of their political structures and recognize the importance of valuing their supporters, avoiding the pitfall of using them only to discard them later.”

This exceptional ability to identify and empower dedicated individuals has not gone unnoticed. Engr. Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde and Otunba Seye Famojuro have emerged as exemplary leaders, serving as a model for effective and empathetic governance.

“Engr. Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, and Otunba Seye Famojuro stand out as exemplary leaders in their ability to recognize and appreciate the worth of others,” Alimi concludes. “Their leadership qualities and practices serve as a blueprint for a new era of inclusive and transformative politics.”
