●Community Petitions Governor for Investigation

Tragedy struck at Government Technical College, Kaduna, as a Senior Secondary School 2 student, Ahmed Musa, was discovered dead on the school premises. His body was found tied and strangulated, bearing marks of severe brutalization, suggesting he may have been tortured before his death.

In response, members of the Doka Community have petitioned Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, calling for a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

The victim’s father, Comrade Musa Muhammed, a journalist and activist, confirmed that the incident occurred on Sunday, February 16, 2025.

“Ahmed Musa’s body was found within the school premises with clear signs of brutalization and strangulation,” he stated, demanding a full investigation and justice for his son. He also urged authorities to ensure those responsible are held accountable and to provide appropriate compensation to the family.

Meanwhile, the spokesman for the Kaduna State Police Command, DSP Mansir Hassan, revealed that the Commissioner of Police has ordered a comprehensive investigation into the case.
