Woman whose 3 children died after giving them sleeping pills reportedly commits suicide in Ibadan

A report of a woman who reportedly gave her three children sleeping pills to avoid their embarrassment went viral over the weekend in Ibadan.

According to reports, the woman gave the children sleeping pills, locked them inside the house to find food for them but on getting back home, she met their corpses.

The incident reportedly happened in Salawu bus stop around Gbagi Market area of Ibadan, Oyo State Capital.

The latest information reaching SpectatorsNG revealed that the bereaved mother has committed suicide after unfortunate death of her children.

The bad incident according to residents was as a result of naira note scarcity which has made life difficult for many Nigerians. The residents gathered that the woman was unable to get cash to get food for the children, a reason for the unfortunate incident.
