You lack respect — Ex-Oyo PDP youth leader hits Arapaja over comments on Ladoja

For his disparaging comments on Otun Olubadan and former governor, Senator Rashidi Ladoja, the immediate past youth leader of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Adekola Adeoye has lambasted Taofeek Arapaja, deputy national chairman (South) of the party.

It would be recalled that Arapaja, a former deputy governor, had on a radio programme yesterday described Ladoja as someone cannot be satisfied easily. The attack, it would be recalled, came because the old politician had decided to support the governorship aspiration of Teslim Folarin of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

Arapaja had said that Ladoja should not have supported any other governorship candidate following what he said ‘Seyi Makinde, governor of Oyo State, had done for him.

Saying that Ladoja doesn’t deserve disrespect from Arapaja, Adeoye said that Arapaja and co should have buried their heads in shame for the poor outing of the party in the presidential and national assembly election in the state.

“To set the record straight, as expected in the just concluded elections, questions were raised and accusing fingers were directed at Governor ‘Seyi Makinde for failing to protect the PDP national assembly candidates who contested the elections and made them gnash their teeth like sheep left in the hands of callous shepherd in the winter.

“Truly, proper arrangements were made and sealed by the presidential campaign council of the PDP to bring Oyo elections funds on Friday 10th, February from Abuja on the eve of the elections by chartered plane, but getting wind of it, they made attempt to stall the effort by informing the security agents to be vigilant. That was how they made the NASS candidate lost the election.

“As typical of a drowning man, he is trying effortlessly to shift the blame on the refined gentleman and High Chief, Senator Ladoja in a campaign of calumny.

“Now, it’s visible even to the blind that Ambassador Arapaja is deceitful and arrogant. Without wasting time, I like to advise Amb. Arapaja to visit Baba Ladoja and go on his kneels. Apart from that, he should write an apology that should be aired on various radio stations in the state.

“Like our Baba Ladoja, let’s all support Sen. Teslim Folarin of the APC as our preferred governorship candidate this Saturday. He will not let the people of Oyo down. He won’t be a learner in government,” Adeoye added.
