A man identified as Bonginkosi Mlotshwa has reportedly killed his wife, Nonhlanhla Mbatha for breaking his Television in South Africa.

It was gathered that the husband went to her parents house to take new TV after breaking their TV set.

A source close to the couple stated that they are still shocked as to why he decided to shoot her over a TV set.

“I don’t know what pushed Bonginkosi to kill the mother of his three children because the Nonhlanhla’s family had given him the TV to avoid more drama between them. Bonginkosi also shot himself in the head,” the source said.

After killing his wife, he allegedly went on to turn the gun on himself and he also died.

But some neighbours believe that the TV issue is just a cover up because the couple could have been having serious problems.
KZN SAPS spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Nqobile Gwala confirmed the incident.
