Mob burn PoS attendance for selling new note 10k with 4k charges in Benin (VIDEO)

In a video presently trending online, a man reported to be a Point of Sale (PoS) attendant was set ablaze in broad daylight.

According to the video caption, the man was set ablaze after he was caught selling new naira notes N10,000 with charges of N4000 in Benin, Edo State Capital.

The man was seen struggled to run out of the fire while the mob were running after him.

9jaSpectator gathered that the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Benin branch were recently monitoring the bank agents who charges exorbitantly to residents in Benin City.

In the news monitored by this online, the bank’s agents are under the strict supervision of the officials of CBN, Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC), Independent Corrupt Practices and other related offences Commission (ICPC) and members of the Edo State Civil Society Organisations (EDOSO) to pay their customers a maximum of N5000 per N100 charges.
