In the spirit of the Eid-el-Kabir celebration, a Germany-based businessman and Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from Oyo State, Hon. Olayinka Segelu, has felicitated with Muslim faithful in Nigeria and worldwide, wishing them a blissful and hitch-free celebration.

Segelu, an aspirant for the Lagelu/Akinyele Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives in the 2023 elections, urged that the Sallah celebration should be seen as a moment of reflection, a period to show unalloyed love to one another, and a time to pray for the progress of Nigeria.

In a statement, the PDP stalwart said he distributed some bags of rice, rams, a cow, and other food items to selected members of his constituency to support them, considering the harsh economic situation where people are finding it tough to survive.

He implored the people of Oyo State and Nigerians to keep hope alive and remain steadfast in their faith in God, believing that things will change for the better as President Bola Ahmed Tinubu continues to pilot the affairs of the country.

While noting that the Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, was leaving no stone unturned to transform the state and make life better for the citizens, Hon. Olayinka Segelu further enjoined Nigerians to pray for the country’s leaders and give them all the needed support to encourage them to lead well.
